I'm Rodrigo, an award-winning creative director with experience leading creative and multidisciplinary teams in global agencies to develop innovative and impactful creative work. I'm also an adnerd who loves my job and this advertising industry, I also believe that having fun and being empathetic is essential to make a good team and work.

Currently Creative Director at Grey México and Instructor at Miami Ad School México.

I have +10 years of experience building brands and solving their business problems with creativity and strategy in different countries: Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Perú, for LATAM, EU, ASIA, and US markets, in renowned creative agencies such as GREY, OGILVY, SAATCHI & SAATCHI, PUBLICIS, HAVAS & BBDO.

For me, creativity in advertising is 100% creative and strategic thinking and 100% storytelling and craft. Only with both will we be able to create real and emotional connections that enhance the experience between people and brands.

In these years, I have had the pleasure of participating with my teams and colleagues in the creation and production of more than 15 works that have been awarded and recognized more than 50 times in international festivals such as Cannes Lions, Effie Awards, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, AdStars, FIAP, Shots, AdStars Asia, Etc.

I have also been a judge at the Adforum Phnx Awards, Mobius Awards, Le Book Connections, Shorty Awards, Ojo de Iberoamérica, and Premio Ideas. And has been featured in AdAge, Adweek, Luerzer's Archive, Muse By Clio, Little Black Book, Shots (Best non-English spot 2020), etc.

I have worked on local and regional campaigns for brands in various categories such as Netflix, Sony Pictures, Absolut Vodka, Mahou, AB/InBev (Brahma, Corona, Lowenbrau, Cristal), Gatorade, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Axa Seguros, Mapfre Seguros, BCP Bank, Scotiabank, BAC Credomatic, Claro, Movistar, Nestlé, Nescafé, Doritos, Lays, McDonald's. I have a degree in Communication and Advertising from the UPC and these years postgraduate and professional master’s in Brand Strategy, Innovation, Data and Design Methods in great schools like Hyper Island, CIID, London College of Communication, Hoala Amsterdam & Valencia, etc.

Besides advertising, I'm a big fan of art and sports, which led me at different times to be a former football and baseball player, a songwriter, and a writer of poetry and short stories.
