Switch for Equality

In Peru, there are more than half a million deaf people who do not share the same rights as others.

For that to change, we brought together the main communication groups and deaf associations to make a live-action: In the main news channels of the country, we switched the host with the sign language interpreter.

The switch, with the interpreter on the primary screen and the host in the smaller secondary screen, caught the live attention of millions of Peruvians, and then, our live-action comes with a message of equality.

This action becoming a movement for a law to finally regulate, thanks to that, congressmen committed themselves to put that law in their principal agenda. Taking a step closer to equality.
